AVUHSD - 1st Ever Live Virtual Talent Show!!

The Antelope Valley Union High School District is proud to announce it's first ever Live Virtual Talent Show. This event will take place on Friday night (2/26) at 7pm on YouTube Live. Make sure you log on early so you don't miss the show. 

Mr. and Mrs. Zanon and Lisa Schmidt will be your hosts for the evening - you won't want to miss it. At the end of the show, a 5 minute voting window will be open so that you can vote on your favorite contestants as many times as you want - remember your votes count and your votes will pick the top 5 contestants who make it to the Final Judges Round. Our Final Judges Round will then select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place - our final judges are Board President, Ms. Jill McGrady, Vice Principal, Mr. Aaron Foley, and theater manager/studio owner, Mrs. Alice McGreevy-Cowan.

All student-athletes must meet all CIF, AVHS and District eligibility requirements to participate in any athletic program.

Students must have a completed Athletics Packet on file which includes: a current sports physical, proof of medical insurance, and online clearances:

Hello parents and welcome to Antelope Valley High School!

Here is a quick rundown of the important information you will need to begin to get your
student-athlete cleared so when we can return to sports, your student-athlete is ready to begin competing!

1. Getting Cleared: All student-athletes MUST be cleared to try-out and/or
participate in athletics. Click on this link and follow the step-by-step procedure
a. All athletes at AVHS must begin to get cleared online, click the link above for the
website and step-by-step procedure

2. Physicals:
a. Athletic Injury Management (AIM) will be @ AVHS.
b. AIM asks you to provide the following:
i. Please have $20 cash for the physicals
ii. Please limit the number of family members that accompany your child to 1, to
maintain proper social distancing.
iii. All people that enter the room need to wear masks, per the CDC
iv. Any individual that is symptomatic, please schedule for an appropriate
time, and do not come to campus while symptomatic

c. All physical forms MUST have a doctor's signature and stamp on them, otherwise
they are not cleared
i. Click on the link for the physical form. (Click File => Make a Copy)
ii. This form, the bus waiver, also needs to be signed and completed to be
able to be cleared.

d. All physicals must be returned to Antelope Valley before a student can be cleared.

So you think you’ve got Talent? 


The Antelope Valley Union High School District is hosting a virtual, district wide, talent show for its students. Can you sing, dance, play an instrument, act, rap, time lapse artwork, or do you have another special talent? Enter Now! Video submission must be 1-2 minutes in length and school appropriate. Please read over the submission form for more details. All entry videos are due by January 15th, 2021 and must be submitted through the submission link below (please download the videos to your google drive first) -
