Hello, my name is April Ambriz and I am running to be your 2024-2025 Junior Senate President. I would like to take this position to be more involved with the school and my peers. By being president, I will gladly listen to your ideas and opinions and help elevate them. I want to be able to help build a better community on campus. Personally, I believe that my creativity and social abilities will enable me to communicate with “you all” and administration to be able to change things around our school. A couple qualities I possess that make me a good candidate are my organizational skills and my ability to communicate with people of all backgrounds. Being a part of the Green Enterprise Academy has helped me improve my time management and abilities to manage multiple tasks at once. In addition to this I also have prior experience being the current secretary for the Black Student Union. Hello, My name is Daniel Esteves and I am running for your 2024-2025 Junior Senate Vice-President. Many things make me qualified for this position one being how I am the current Sophomore Senate President. This means that I know how to prepare the agendas for each senate meeting, directly communicate with ASB, and help support all class officers in fulfilling their responsibilities. In addition to this, I am the current operations officer of the NJROTC program. A few responsibilities I have are planning and operating any events that we have in our program, and taking charge of over cadets. I have built good leadership and communication skills In NJROTC. Being a part of the Green Enterprise Academy has helped me develop a strong base of time management and creativity. By voting me for your Vice-President I will ensure fundraisers get planned, money gets raised for the junior senate, and fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the president when absent. Mission
Our Mission is to put on and enrich student activity on campus while demonstrating the true spirit of being an AVHS Lope. We are by the students, for the students, and we devote ourselves completely to Antelope Valley High School and serve it by working and planning the student body's activities and creating a fun, safe atmosphere for all students. Go Lopes!
We are looking for a diverse group of students who are:
- PASSING ALL CLASSES (ACADEMICS and at least a 2.5 GPA)
- IN GOOD STANDING (BEHAVIOR)
- A GOOD INFLUENCE TO THEIR PEERS
- STRONG LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES
