Prom 2025 will be held at the Rose Garden Estates in Tehachapi, CA on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 from 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM! Applications are available in the Activities Office for ALL JUNIORS and SENIORS ONLY! Juniors and Seniors may take a Freshmen or Sophomore as a guest, following a cleared guest application. Guests must be 14 y/o through 20 y/o only. Valid IDs/Updated Student IDs are required for all participants.

$100 with VIP/ASB Cards; $110 without VIP/ASB Cards - $125  for all Guests

PRICES INCREASE on 2/19/25 so once approved, Purchase your tickets by 2/18/25 to save $$$!

**Please be aware that ALL students & guests are required to ride the provided school bus transportation from AVHS to the venue and back. No exceptions can be made**

Senior Finals are coming up Wednesday & Thursday, 5/28/25 & 5/29/25! Check with your teachers to make sure all assignments are complete and that you are passing your classes! Check with your Counselor as well to make sure you have all credits needed toward graduation!

Senior Check-Out - Friday, 5/30/25  Check-Out will be conducted through Econ/Civics/Gov't classes. Seniors may only check out during that period. Students without an Econ/Civics/Gov't class or on Independent Study will need to Check-Out during Period 2 (10:00 AM) on Friday, 5/30/25. In order to check-out, seniors must obtain ALL required signatures to be given permission to attend grad practice and to receive their Graduation Tickets (4; +1 for student who attended the Panoramic/PSAT Day) and Cap & Gown. Senior Sunset will take place from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM on Monday, 5/27/24 out on the Practice/Softball Field! This is your opportunity to conitnue working on your Grad Cap, play games with friends, have some snacks/food (Possible Food Truck Provided), sign yearbooks, and to say your last goodbyes to your awesome friends while watching the sunset!

Graduation Practices will take place on Monday, 6/2/25 & Tuesday, 6/3/25 at 8:45 AM in the Large Gym! Be prepared to be in the sun (sunblock, water, eat beforehand) as we will be walking through the Stadium after we meet and discuss logistics in the Large Gym. Practice will run approximately 90 minutes. Following, you will given the opportunity to purchase additional Graduation Tickets (3 extra per student) beginning on Monday, 6/2/25. Depending on the ticket sales on Monday, an additional 1 to 2 tickets may be available for purchase on Tuesday, 6/3/25 after practice as well. Seniors will not be allowed to roam the campus. Once they have completed grad practice and have purchased any extra grad tickets, they will be asked to vacate the premises.

***BOTH Graduation Practices are MANDATORY. Any student that does not attend both practices will not be allowed to participate in the Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday, 6/4/25***

GRADUATION will be held on Wednesday, 6/4/25 at 6:00 PM! Graduating Seniors are required to arrive to the Large Gym at 4:45 PM for Check-in and placement. Participating students & small bags will be searched before entering the Large Gym. All students must be wearing professional attire, including shoes that can't slide off or get stuck in turf or dirt. Pointed heals are not allowed for safety purposes, however, block heals are permitted. Caps (with tassles) & Gowns are also REQUIRED to participate. If the Cap is decorated, it MUST be pre-approved by the Activites Office or at the Grad Cap Wrap in order to be worn.  All Graduation Gowns cannot be altered in any way to participate. All participants wearning SASHES and CORDS must be AVHS-Issued and approved. All other sashes/cords are not allowed. Small bags are allowed but not recommended. Graduates will be arranged alphabetically by last name during the ceremony.

 

Items NOT permitted for participating Seniors at Graduation:

*Large Bags/Backpacks *Unprofessional Attire including Gang-Related/Drug-Affiliated Clothing (Backwoods, Cookies, etc) *Weapons of any kind *Sashes & Cords that are not AVHS-issued *Unapproved Decorated Caps *Altered Grad Gowns *Any other item that violates AVUHSD Board Policies/CA Education Codes

Stadium Rules/Regulations for Graduation: All Large Bags are subject to search upon entering the Stadium. Every Attendee MUST have a valid AVHS Graduation Ticket to Enter. Children 3 and under do not require a ticket but must Lap-sit. Stadium will open at 5:00 PM.  ALL Graduates will be walking by both the home side & visitors side bleachers so attendees will be able to see their graduate up close on both sides. Please be aware that the front isles of the bleachers must remain clear for safety purposes and to allow all participants to view the ceremony without disruption.

*Noisemakers of any kind *Umbrellas *Easy-ups/Tents  *Party Poppers/Fireworks (Poppers will be used by faculty at the end of the ceremony on the Field only)

**Please Note: Caps & Gown Orders will be sent to Antelope Valley High School for students to pick up during Senior Check out on Friday, May 30th, 2025. If your Cap & Gown is sent home with other Jostens.com items, please make sure to bring it to Graduation on 6/4/25 in order to participate!

Grad Nite - Class of 2025!

Grad Nite takes place on Friday, May 30th, 2025 to Six Flag Magic Mountain! Students must have pre-purchased their ticket to attend!

Check-In: 5:00 PM (Plan to arrive a little early to make sure you make it before the buses leave!)

Departure: 5:30 PM!

SIX FLAGS PARK DRESS CODE

In keeping with our family-friendly environment, and for safety reasons, Six Flags enforces a dress code. Proper attire must be worn in the park at all times, including shirts and appropriate footwear. Clothing or tattoos with offensive language or graphics are not permitted at any time.

Clothing Items/Displays NOT Allowed:

*Graphic Violence, Profanity/Vulgarity of Any Kind, Pornography/Nudity, Support of Drugs & Drug Use (Including Cookies, Backwoods, etc. clothing), Gang Symbols, Discriminatory Language of Any Kind, Ski Masks or Anything Similar that Makes a Person Unidentifiable, School Logos or school affiliated items are also not permitted for safety reasons.
